link to bundle https://www.microcenter.com/produ...ild-bundle

Added it to the main post. Is an extra 16gb of ram not worth $10 though?

Generally most use cases don't need more than 20gb ram much less than 32gb, and furthermore the 48gb kit is slower and higher latency.

Thank you. I'm running 64gb ram in my system now (12700k, 64gb 3200mhz) but have been thinking about upgrading. I haven't found it to be worth the cost of buying a new board, ram and cpu though yet.

Yup - hence the reason why only thinking about it haha. I'll probably wait another year or two though before actually upgrading. Probably not until a 50-100% performance increase.

Do you then find it strange that Unreal Engine 5 is recommending 64Gb?

Not really. Cutting edge 3d game development with all the advanced rendering will take more ram then the actual retail release of the game made for the engine. The engine is built to push future hardware that hasn't even been released to its limit.

They actually offers mix match these days. Would be bit pricier (almost the same but add up the mobo and ram diff) but it still is an option now. Just try to put 3 parts in cart and it should show.
