Definitely a hardy processor. Has served me well the past three years. This is a lot of performance for $114.

I am using this with7900xtx undervolter and small OC and (don't know about 1% lows but avg in borderlands 3 benchmark keeps up within 6 fps of 5800x3d.... Frame times are obviously better with 3d but I was surprised it was that close.

easily one of the best cpus for the price. there are better and there are greater but man this cpu aged well. especially with the am4 socket. If you didn't buy it years go, its definitely time for the upgrade.

Been using this CPU since it came out, and it's still going strong. Great price, power/heat efficiency, and performance.

Any reasonable AM4 motherboard deals for this?

Price is decent, but its hard to recommend since the 12600kf for $20 more runs circles around the 5600x, and AM4 is a dead platform. So unless youre coming from Zen 1-2 with an AM4 board already, it doesnt make sense to buy.

Is it worth it to upgrade from a 5500? I know that has double the cache.
