The lack of blood oxygen metering is a deal killer.
Apple needs to stop using other people's patents without their consent.

My local Target still sells both. The 2024 model is $329….the 2023 model is $429.

So, should I hold off until after the release of the watch series 10? Not enough updates to justify the increase in price around black Friday?

Might as well wait. At minimum, they'll (S9) probably cost the same as this around BF and there's a good chance they'll match last year's pricing on series 8 and get sold at $230 (in limited colors/strap sizes). This also lets you judge the 10 when it's actually out and you can compare.

Thanks for the info. I'm a Samsung Watch guy but my wife wants a Apple Watch, which I don't know much about. I'll wait until BF then.

I have a 45mm with the blood oxygen sensor enabled on it. It's a bit too big, should I consider downsizing to the 41mm or wait till the Series 10 comes out to downsize? Thanks!
