We bought this and weren't impressed. The steam capabilities are lack luster. It doesn't come close to replacing a steam gun and a wet vac. Stick with spot cleaner and a separate steamer as this isn't quite yet ready for prime time.

It's $129.99 on the bissell website and includes a set of wheels and self cleaning tool which this does not.

Anyone with first hand experience? Is this machine any good? Already have a steamer and considered getting the $100 little green for car detailing.

Why wouldn't one buy a wet dry vac which has alot more power, but is missing the soap sprayer?

Personally I love mine compared to all the other similar vacs on the market. The steam function works great for me and lifts stains off pretty good I notice a visible difference in my carpet after using it.

I got one of these units off facebook marketplace a while back for $100. The unit works great, I wouldn't buy it just for the steam function, but at this price I would say 100% worth it even if you dont plan on using the steam. The important note for this model is they improved the hose compared to previous models, on previous models the hose would be a common point of failure over time.

Do note that personally I do not opt to putting chemicals/detergents in the tank and just treat and scrub the area im going to clean then extract it with hot water. Using chemicals/detergents as part of the extraction will leave it in the fabric you're cleaning.

I'm trying to decide between the two. This is on sale and the pro isn't, but I'm wondering if the suction is better on the pro. Also not sure I need the the steam. Just needing for spot cleaning and car detailing. But for $60 less than the pro I might go with the hydrosteam.

Water holds insane amounts of heat energy.

If the steaming function is meh like people say it is It will work much better if you put in hot water. Water so hot that you can barely put your hand in it comfortably. This will help the steaming a lot..

It works better than the little green machine by a good amount. The steam part really helps keep the water down. Suction is good and better with a 3" attachment.

It doesn't work fast but it is capable. It was great for detailing my small car and worked very well spot cleaning the carpet.

Be aware that not all types of cleaners are meant to be used with steam.
