Is creamy soup a code word? If not, a lot of questions on why 3 gallons was in the bedroom.

I bought this same mattress off Amazon 6 years ago. It was the best, most comfortable mattress I've ever used. I'd literally have all my friends, family etc lay on it, and they more or less unanimously agreed that it was a fantastically comfortable mattress.

Fast forward, I ended up throwing the mattress out after my wife spilled like 3 gallons of creamy soup all over it...

Bought another one of these on this sale. Looks like the same mattress, but absolutely doesn't feel the same at all. Much firmer, you can feel the coil through the top, etc. Not anywhere near the same level of comfort as the prior one that I had. I haven't complained to the company / Amazon yet as I've only had it for 3 days and hoping it settles / expands further, but this is a major dissapointment after the last one I had.

That being said, for $138, it's a great deal and not a bad mattress. I may opt to buy a memory foam mattress pad and see how that helps.

There are 300+ reviews that mention firmness. Personally, I'm hesitant to offer an opinion since it can be so subjective, but maybe you can look at reviews from people who describe definition/preferences that match your own.

I had the Zinus Queen 12" hybrid for years and loved it. Not sure about this one. Would try this if I hadn't bought another I dislike (way too soft) Crystii(??).

Was looking for a queen 10" hybrid firm mattress. This seems to be the best deal, although it is a 12" mattress.

Bought a queen hybrid for $84 off of Walmart a few months ago and love it. This looks firmer than mine though. Mine is 13 inches, the mattress obviously.

Anyone know how Amazon's mattress delivery process goes?

I imagine it's got to be by some freight company? Although I guess Amazon has their own. Thx.
