The Pro and Pro Plus are streamers not amplifiers. This device can stream and power your speakers/sub. It is tough to beat the value the WiiM Amp provides even at full price.
I disagree. Compare to the Sonos amp and it's a steal.
This is overpriced? lol, compared to what?

Is there a big difference compared to pro or pro plus which are also on sale
Pro Plus has a superior built in DAC vs Pro.

So if you don't plan to purchase a separate DAC unit, buy the Pro Plus. But if you already have a DAC you like, then buy the Pro.

It doesn't look like this has phono in for a turntable. Unless someone wants to correct me. Would have picked one up.

Edit: it has RCA for those with a preamp TT. But no phono line support.

It has two speaker outputs. I would not attempt to run more than a pair at a time with this amp. Ideally, each zone needs it's own amplifier, but also needs one network source. The problem with these class D TI amps is some feel they sound a bit thin. What are you using to power them now?

From Erin's review "at high power there is approximately 33 watts of power loss with the multitone signal compared to the single 1kHz signal."
Good build quality and HDMI input with Arc capability
Easy control through a phone app
Features like EQ and subwoofer output
Limited power output, may not be sufficient for larger rooms or low sensitivity speakers
Suitable for smaller rooms or bedroom setups
Price of $300 makes it a good value for the features it offers
Stable performance, does not get hot during use

Swapped out our Sonos to this for our outdoor speakers because we have Google home devices throughout the rest of our house and I've set up speaker groups with them all. One button and I can stream to all the devices (or groups) at once. It's been great.

If you are doing new construction work, I've had a multizone amp system from Monoprice (that has some slick wall controllers) installed in some clients houses.

You will need separate sources (streamers, CD player, etc) as it's only the amp and zone control.

May be worth looking into for you (there are some other variants out there as well).

I'm in a new construction build and would love something like this that supports 4 or 8 rooms. This AIO system seems great but i'll need one per room. Any larger systems that does the same thing?

Compared to a used receiver on Facebook Marketplace/eBay + Chromecast / Google TV / Walmart ONN streamer, and you can get both combined for under $100.

This is targeting a different market, but they're correct that this is overpriced for someone who just wants to amplify passive speakers and stream to them. This is great for a small form factor, integrated solution, but Yamaha's entry level HDMI 2.0 / HDCP 2.2 receivers are 17x12x6 work just as well for a lot of people and give so much more amplification flexibility.

This is a great product for people who need it. But a lot of people don't know they can just buy a cheap receiver and a Chromecast and achieve the same effect.

Might as well get it here for even cheaper (use the 20% off coupon to get it for $223 instead of this "prime day deal" at $239.

They just added room correction update through Apple phones. That alone is worth it.
