That's a $300 price difference, or over 37% more expensive in this case. For many people the added specs will have no real world tangible benefits. If someone wants a thin and light laptop with good battery life for work/school to use with Office 365 and Teams, I'd probably be looking more at the $800 version. Of course there are definitely people that could make use of the added specs, but that doesn't account for every person, or even most people. Just because a better model exists for 37% more money doesn't make this a terrible deal, it's two specs at two different price points that is far enough apart to justify both existing.
How do you post an LG Gram deal and not post the weight of the laptop? It's literally the reason for its existence.
2.87 lbs. You're welcome.

How are the Ultra 7 155h mobile processors?

On paper they score better than the 12th/13th gen i7

It's the next generation. Intel revised their naming scheme.

I have the 13th gen version of this laptop and it is very nice. The screen feels big if not high end, and the super light weight is nice. Very cool and quiet, good trackpad, no issues at all for me

Is 1080 a bit low for 15" display?
That's what I thought too as a MacBook Pro user. But the displays on these devices are pretty crisp.

My 2023 version has a fingerprint reader to log in. It's built into the power button.

Have a 13 inch Gram from 2017. Only issue is the round power plug gets loose, then charging is weak, after 4-5 years. Got a non-oem replacement. Now using 100w Anker usb-c charger. Other than that, no issues, typical Windows reboots to fix typical MS issues. Everyone, including Mac owners surprised with lightness. Battery life still around 8-10 hours for Word, web surfing, advanced PowerPoint, minor video editing. Would get one again.

I bought my LG gram from Costco about 3 years ago (no touch but 15.6", previous processor) and it is my favorite laptop I've ever had! I use it at least a couple hours everyday, sometimes 10± hours, Super lightweight, amazing battery life, feels very high end, no dead pixels or ports, and I am not gentle with it at all. Takes a lot more abuse than it should. I would upgrade for the touch, but can't justify it since mine still works great.

That's 16 inches, this is 15.6. And yes, that can be important for some people, like me, where the extra half-inch is the difference between one that fits in my backpack and briefcase and one that doesn't.

And as pezzie said...$300 more expensive.

Your bag is that small that the tiny difference would be an issue?

On another note, I bought this. I cant find any reason to buy the LG over the ASUS, same price paid.

I bought a 16" version for $749 that was available at Costco a couple of months ago. I only get about 5-6 hours on battery and I'm only using it for web surfing and other basic stuff. I do have at least 20 tabs open in Chrome but I don't think that should use up the battery. Does this have a better battery life?

Why is this a better deal than these two?

$150 cheaper outside of screen size everything looks same to me…
