Not sure why this hasn't gotten more love. It's one of the lowest prices for a 4070 I've seen. Something I don't know?

More and more people are waking up to the fact that NOvidia is overpriced and AMD offers a superior value.

Granted NOvidia cards have good technology, and if you're a fan of the latest and greatest tech then being a Nvidia fan is fine. But this is Slickdeals, which is all about VALUE and the lowest price for a given amount of performance.

$500 *is* a good price for a 4070, but look here ---> for $510 you can get an AMD 7900 GRE which completely blows away the 4070 in any game you wanna play. By a large margin.

They're both overpriced. AMD just follows Nvidia's lead. If anything, the 7000 series from AMD had worse gen-over-gen improvements than Nvidia. All current gen cards are an absolutely trash value.

I agree, I need a card that can do 4k at playable FPS and can't justify giving $500+ for these cards so I'm playing the waiting game. Even the used market is messed up, people are asking at or near retail.
