Tile works with all smartphones - I believe these only work with Samsung.

My only complaint I've had so far is that these make so much beeping noises randomly. I'm not even sure why.

I've had the beeping noises as well (not that often though) on fresh batteries.

Having said that, these track much better than my wife's Airtags in my area. We use them primarily on my kids knapsacks and they have both the Airtags and the Samsungs attached to their backpacks

I don't have these yet but I do have tile & airtag; and my experience has been some what similar. For the most part the tile will be updated maybe 10 minutes behind the air tag and sometimes it will be updated before the airtag. so its similar. i Have both a tile and airtag in my car on opposite sides of the vehicle has made it simple to track. And it's always consistent. I also put it on the right side of the car as it's closer to the sidewalk giving it a higher chance of being updated more often.

There has been times when the tile has been updated and the airtag hasn't and its been over 2 hours.

I'm looking for the Samsung ones for the uwb so it's easier to locate lost items like keys and such

I have Tile, AirTag, and Samsung. Samsung and AirTag are the best depending on which OS you have. Tile is junk and can't track anything well.

Interesting as that's not my experience 🤔. Maybe it's your region? Less dense area? Or maybe because there are so many apple users as airtags work with ipads and iPhones. Where as tile only works when someone has downloaded the app. So you're very limited with tile. And Samsung will most likely have a higher number of people who have a Samsung phone vs tile app.

I had them since launch. They work okay, but the battery doesn't last nearly as long as advertised. They also sometimes push false "low battery" notifications on my phone. Just yesterday, I got this notification for a tag with a fresh battery. When I checked now, the battery level went back to full. This happens mostly just on that one tag tho, so it might be just that one tag being defective.

And yes, mine also beeps randomly throughout the day.

Like others have said, they beep incessantly. It's completely random. It could be once an hour, or once a day. Even with brand new batteries.

We used them for our dogs but had to stop because one of them would freak out every time it beeped.
This is apparently a super known issue. Apparently some of them do not do it, and some do. We have 4 and all of them do it.

If that doesn't bother you, go for it. We went back to the originals.

It's not just Samsung phones, the network includes various Samsung devices such as TV, laptop, earbuds, etc. Anything part of the Smartthing Find system similar to how Airtag will seek out all Apple devices. So long as Tile continues to rely on their own system, it's not useful for most people.

You're literally the only one who says this. Read *any* review online and Tile is always a huge laggard compared to the other options. And I live in Los Angeles and travel all over the US and world. Tile is garbage.

IIRC, battery notification isn't based on actual battery level but time since replacement. But that's from memory, I could be wrong.
