Have the 8 GB RAM, and turning on the "reduce animations" (Settings -> Accessibility -> Vision enhancements -> Reduce animations (toggle on) made a HUGE difference and is a game changer! Feels much faster and snappier in response. Initially had animations reduced to 0.5x under the developer option, and still felt jittery at times. But the reduce animation makes this feel like a $500+ tablet!

Samsung Tab A9+ has double the RAM (8GB vs 4GB)

Tab A9+ has full Android 13 (upgradable to Android 14, 15 and maybe 16) vs FireOS 8 on Amazon Fire Max 11 (limited apps on Amazon App Store, doesn't have Google Play services, based on the old Android 11 and probably won't have any OS upgrade in the future)

such a hassle doing this crap on a phone. Samsung has $20 added for tax and should be only $15. but they don't show tax amount. Just pay $174.86. F Samusung! Edit. It's California recycle fee. F Newsom! I'm not even recycling anything. They'll get me again when I do recycle. Welcome to California. Land of the overly taxed!

This has been up for a while, it doesnt seem like a " price mistake" to me. 🤣🤣 With that said, in for one. Why not since I still use my modded amazon hd10 over my ipad more.

Anyone been able to get the Best Buy pickup to work? I select it and it shows it through the whole checkout process as pickup within 2 hours. But then on the last page it says ships free and arrives by July 22.

Hit the edit button next to delivery on the place order page. That's what worked for me. Currently waiting for a cancellation email or ready for pickup email.

Thank you so much! I had the kids fire hd10 bought for $109 each but these tab a9+ at 154 and I don't have to side load all of the android stuff is a much better deal.

Not for me. In fact seemed broken, didn't show the correct location on the map even if you changed the zip code.

Assuming it comes & isn't cancelled will have to start looking at cases. Interested in any recommendations for this tablet...

It worked for me. I just picked it up at BB an hour ago and charging it now.
