When I used $ back sites, the price reverts to $200+ unfortunately.

Have the 8 GB RAM, and turning on the "reduce animations" (Settings -> Accessibility -> Vision enhancements -> Reduce animations (toggle on) made a HUGE difference and is a game changer! Feels much faster and snappier in response. Initially had animations reduced to 0.5x under the developer option, and still felt jittery at times. But the reduce animation makes this feel like a $500+ tablet!

Even the fastest SD cards are orders of magnitude too slow to be anything close to system memory

Here is the side by side comparison:

https://www.notebookcheck.net/Hel...596.0.html

Looks like the G99 has a faster GPU, while the SD695 has faster CPU cores.

I just ordered the new iPlay60 Mini Pro from Amazon with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage from Amazon for $140 with their launch coupon. Should be here next week. I have been looking for a smaller tablet, and this one seems to be perfect in terms of size (8.4" 1080p display), and weight (310 grams). The A9+ is quite heavy at 480 grams.

I also just ordered the 8.7" version of the Samsung A9 international version from eBay for $90 open box. Both the iPlay 60 Mini Pro and the Samsung A9 8.7" have the Mediatek G99 SOC. Looking forward to trying some smaller Android tablets after being stuck with big and heavy 10-11" Android tablets for so long. I wish more manufacturers made smaller and lighter tablets and phones.

Was tempted to also order the 8GB A9+ for $154, but I already have a nice 11" tablet with an OLED display (Lenovo P11 Pro Gen 2), so decided to control my constant urge to buy more gadgets. Lol.

I purchased my wife the very similiar iPlay50 Mini Pro NFE on Amazon ( 8 inch tablet with 8 gb ram 256 GB storage) a couple weeks ago. Seems like a great tablet for $145. Biggest issue is it has really crapy speakers, and the bluetooth won't connect to her earbuds. Hopefully I'll figure the bluetooth out, or perhaps it just doesn't like those earbuds. Fortunately she mostly uses it to play games that are similiar to scrabble, where sounds is not very important. Other than this issue, she is very happy with this tablet.

Btw, they just launched the iPlay 60 Mini pro with dual speakers, a bigger battery, brighter screen. Available today for $140 for the 128GB version.

ALLDOCUBE Android 14 Tablet, 8.4 inch Helio G99 iPlay60 Mini Pro Tablet, 16GB RAM 128GB ROM 512GB Expandable, FHD 1920x1200 Display, Widevine L1, 6050mAh, 5MP/13MP Camera, 4G LTE Bluetooth 5.2 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D6RDD1R3

Coupon code OUT812New plus the $10 clipped coupon on the page should bring it down to $140. Looks like a pretty decent upgrade over the iPlay 50 Mini Pro. The only thing is as lost is the headphone jack, but the additions are worth that sacrifice. I had been waiting for this for months. Finally ordered one today. Surprisingly, the only place you can buy it at right now besides Japan is on Amazon US.

I am signed in with Education Offer Program Store and I cannot get out of it. I can't find a way to get out of the store so I am unable to get this deal. I saw someone say that they signed into the app and then sign out of the store and they got the deal. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how you signed out of the Education store. I'm permanently stuck in it.

Go to apps and try clearing both data and cache. Clearing Data should delete any stored info and log you out of your account, which then you can just purchase as a guest to take advantage of this offer. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling and re-installing the app.

Thanks, that allowed me to get the deal as a guest. What an absolutely annoying set of hoops to jump through.

click on account on left hand side of app, and where your account / email showed up click exit store right below that.

Could you point me to the source which has the details of Samsung using SSD for 8GB RAM?

Where are you seeing the P11 Pro for sale? All I can find is a refurb from a Target reseller and listings from Mercari, eBay, etc.
