I bought this 2 years ago, I kept debating on which one I should get as far as brands. Did a lot of research and decided on this one. My home is 2200 sq ft colonial w hardwood and throw rugs. I have a heeler dog. It takes a little over an hour to mop and vacuum, gets in the corners and zero crumbs. My floors look fantastic after the job! I wish I got it sooner.

I bought the Q5 because of the dual roller and increase in pa (q7- 4200, q5 - 5500) - I didn't need mopping.

Looking at this though, this model lacks a lot of features. I'm sticking with my Costco deal for the return policy.

Roborock has too many confusing model numbers with very minor differences. I purchased a Roborock Q5 Pro+ a few days ago on a Prime Deal. I chose it because it has dual rollers, which I don't think this Q7 does. With 2 people in my house with long hair, hair wrap on the rollers is an issue. So far this one (Q5 Pro+) does a far better job with hair wrap, although it is not completely hair wrap-less. Unless you get one of the higher-end models with twin spinning mops don't expect the mopping features on either of these models to be something you rely on.

If you don't like to remember to empty the vacuum every few days, then YES! For me, I'd rather empty it myself so I can also check to make sure the rollers/filters are good every once in the while.
