I have curly hair (2C-3A depending on the hormones) and very dry hair, prone to damage (hypothyroidism). The airstrait is the least damaging tool I've used for straightening hair. If I have the patience to use it correctly (small sections, 2 wet passes, 1 dry and cold air) with the right product (COLOR WOW Dream Coat Supernatural Spray, but you need to use a lot), my hair looks like it was naturally straight and stays like that until I wash it. The downside is you can't shape it with the same tool, it only does straight (which is fine by me).
