My local Costco has it in stock but they have it marked at $1500 and won't budge on the price despite it being listed as in stock on the website. They claim it's two separate businesses, BS!!!!

Anyone have real life burn in experience on this LG series? Main thing holding me back
I have a C8 from 2018 with absolutely no burn in. But if you go up right to the screen you can see dead pixels around the border of the screen. You can't notice during normal viewing though. Tv is used for heaving gaming and movies. So the varied content helped with keeping it looking good

The cable news chyron is the exact scenario RTINGS uses for its burn-in tests and it's definitely something I would be worried about with an OLED: https://www.rtings.com/tv/tests/l...nd-results

OLED is still superior to other screen types as far as picture quality goes but Mini LED is getting close enough now that I would definitely go that route in your situation. A 65" TCL QM851G is slightly cheaper and looks pretty great https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews...m851g-qled
Yea I was waiting on a deal for the X93. It would appear Sony stopped making it because it almost impossible to find. Bravia 7 is interesting but just too much right now.

Edited for the missed "Thank You"

Costco online price usually $100 higher than in store for big item. It should be $1100 in store.

What does that even mean? Separate from what, corporate? Never heard this before.

So, I don't live in an area where this deal officially works. And, the Costco website says my store has 0 in stock. But, I went there anyway and asked the guy at the returns desk if they had any and if they would give it to me for $1199. Yes and yes! Well, what actually happened, was that they did have several in stock and they were on the shelf for $1499. But when I asked if they would do $1199, they rang it up and it rang up for $1199, not $1499 like the sticker said. May have just been the wholesale gods in a good mood, but also may be worth trying.

Folks, can I get some advice? I wanted 65" G3 but missed yesterdays deal. Should I buy this (in stock in my local store) or should I keep waiting for G3 sale?

Have the C1 from release, no burn in. They have tech/software, built in the TV, that essentially makes burn-in a non-issue. It modulates the luminosity of the TV, mainly where subtitles and logos are static. Also has a program that refreshes every single pixel, which combats burn-in. Hope to have this for several more years.

But if I see a 77" C3 for 1150, I'm taking it no questions.

There was "low stock" at a couple of stores in the Phoenix metro area. I was able to snag one for pickup, no delivery. I just bought my mom the exact same set at Costco for mothers day, so maybe price adjustment?

This is a "buy now, think later, just don't think" deal. Mega kudos OP!!
