Great prices for those who live nearby. Shipping kills it.

Edit: ...kills it if buying an item or two. Spend $50 makes good. (But how many of these things do I need lol. Can always give as Christmas presents. Wife might like a sledgehammer.

When a similar offer to this one was posted here last month I placed an order on June 30 and two separate deliveries both shipped on July 1.

And I bought that machete. The blade dulls fairly quickly, and it only good for light duty work, but for $5 it's fine. I think the pruning saws on sale are much better value, especially the 18" one for 5.99.

FWIW machetes are great to use if you are laying sod. Cutting pieces to fit around beds, driveways, etc.

The machete fight scene is also known as the "half" brother scene. It's probably one of the funniest parts of the movie. It starts at about the 1minute mark in the YouTube link.
Oh man.. watched the clip.. now I gotta watch the entire thing woot

Had high hopes for the 13" power tooth pruning saw. But, I got it and tested it out and it was kinda meh.

Unlike similar saws, these teeth are set ~ a millimeter (bent out from center line of the blade), which makes the saw catch a lot more than other saws with "this Japanese pull saw" blade design.

At the end of the day, it's no Silky Gomboy, but maybe 50% as good which isn't bad for $5.

…can we please stop calling everything "assault" now?
It's really getting tiring.

Fiskars brand in 2024 is not worth this price.

Long gone are the days of quality products from this brand.

Buyer beware!

Thanks very much for the information. I don't like the idea that the blade on the machete dulls fairly quickly. Those will be put to heavy use in Africa. I was hoping it will be their go-to machete for day-to-day work in their farms.

I am not sure what you were expecting from a 6 dollar machete but this one is 1/2 price compared to Amazon

decent reviews at 16 bucks

That is prolly product return because it don't work for most folks. I suspect because of the longer cutting edge from the curve, it requires nice and slow and methodical actuation of the levers. But who's got time for that when you really don't even have time for gardening. Just saying.
