For most everything it should be fine, but if you are doing photo or video or web design, you'd want an external monitor for color accuracy.

I'm looking for a laptop for general everyday use and I'm not super picky except for a couple things: I want 16gb ram (or more), and it absolutely has to be chargeable via USB-C. A decent keyboard is a plus
For most everything it should be fine, but if you are doing photo or video or web design, you'd want an external monitor for color accuracy.
RAM and storage raw component prices bottomed a year ago and even recovered in recent months. It was processors that held up the complete system prices in the past 12 months. Prices are finally coming back down to normal levels with this and many other deals I see.
If you are not in a rush, hold out another 3 months or so and you should continue to see some meaningful drops in prices on complete systems.
