1. Almost EVERY company that installs or makes countertops or decking or sells moderately expensive clothing will give you a tiny sample of their product in different colors — so tiny free samples are in NO WAY a "slick deal"..
2. Tiny pieces of marble or decking material or tiny fabric swatches are utterly USELESS to SD members EXCEPT for their intended purpose of placing an order for the countertops or clothing — which is precisely why these companies give them away! These companies know that no one in their right mind would want these useless tiny samples except to possibly place an order for the much larger product
A slick deal is what you make it.
Many of these free samples are usable for those whom use their imagination making various other items not always thought by those not interested.
Ones imagination is only as good as it is used, be it making a bird house from wooden samples, etc
Therefore, when you view these offers for things for which you have no interest, merely DISREGARD them.
