Getting this error on the Max page on the Unidays site:

"We couldn't issue you a code.
Please check back shortly."

I don't actually want to pursue this, just wanted to see if they offer discounts on ad-free service (super doubtful)

I'm sure if someone discovered the bug I have hit, they would get a huge bonus, but I've been logged into hbo max and watching for nearly 8 months after cancelling service.

Exactly. First generation Netflix did away with commercials, and provided great content for a very fair price, $8/month I believe.

Now Netflix and HBO are downgrading us consumers back to the cable model, paying money to watch commercials.
