Price vs performance this stuff is fine. Doesn't work the best but it does work and it's cheap as hell. Turtle Wax makes the best bug and tar spray imo.

PS all of these products work better if you spray a foam cannon over them. Just gives them more time before drying out and hydrates all that bug junk that much more.

I'm a huge fan of rubbing alcohol but I read that its bad for your cars clear coat and removes whatever protective wax later you've put on your car.but I guess if you're going to be washing your car right after alcohol would work great to remove those stubborn bugs or bird poop

If you have a apc (all purpose cleaner - degreaser), use that at higher concentration instead for fraction of the cost. Allow dwell time to reduce elbow grease and hence less scratches.

crappy clear coat if rubbing alcohol damages it.

what happens if you spill gas on it?

That's why they tell you to wipe it off if you do spill gas on it.

Ok so for the hood just use an all purpose cleaner I use pinsole for that and rims to help loosen up the gunk. Rinse then hand-wash and wax , like some products are needed others not so much

Works on bugs, but only softens tar. This was my experience.

Alcohol based hand sanitizer is the way to go. It's thick and you can let it sit for a few minutes then everything comes off.
