It's USP verified and 5mg seems to be a good dose but more importantly it just works for me.
Amazon also has some branded sleeping pills that 1/2 will knock me out and make me feel groggy in the morning.

I take unisom, Costco Kirkland sleep aid, sleep like a baby + 5mg melotonin
I don't remember it being that expensive, I got it for less than $10 a few weeks ago
