Yeah wondering the same. It says 7 yr limited warranty. I wonder if they will replace broken parts and worn out pads during that time.

There is probably a clause that excludes normal wear and tear.
What I have learned (from their own associates) is to purchase their ($15) extended warranty if the material is fake leather. Set a calendar reminder for 12 months, then make a claim when you see the flaking. You'll submit pictures, and they'll email you back a Staples gift card for the purchase price ($70).
Silly process, but they probably sell it thinking you'll forget about it. (Kinda like not bothering to submit a rebate.) I bet the associates get some sort of bonus for it; so do them a favor.

We bought a bunch of these at my old work. They were EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Almost everyone went back to their old chairs and we left these in the meeting room because they're only bearable for about an hour or so.

The vector faux leather gaming chair for like $50 from a sale last year was a steal. Other than creaking sounds once in awhile its held up

No, it's garbage. I bought same one for my son for his gaming desk. The seat ripped at the seam after only 1 week . Took 2 months to get a replacement seat because they were on backorder. Staples customer service is very helpful...but you shouldn't have to be calling customer service after 1 week of using a chair

Employees do get credit for adding on things like service plans although it doesn't come in the form of a bonus. But I do agree that for the cheap price, the extended warranty on things like this that do have wear and tear issues based upon usage is definitely worth it.

This. Absolutely. I bought a nice leather chair from them and I knew it would be a work chair (lots of use) so I got the extended warranty for $15-$20 extra. I called before the warranty was up and they sent me a visa with the full amount, minus the extended warranty price. The chair was "fine" but leather was worn out from the extended use and was definitely still useable. They couldn't replace it, because it was an older model, so I just got the visa.

*TLDR: I bought a chair with warranty, called in to use it, they sent me full money back on a visa. Definitely worth buying the warranty with these chairs.

Seat depth is only 19.29''...very bad if you are tall or for that matter not thin...

The protection plan is typically for 3 years, right? Did you call after a year or near the 3 year expiry date of the plan?
