A bit excessive for the average casual at-home workout, unless you are a 250 lb strongman contender.

35-50lb is the sweet spot for the moderate athlete

If you wanna do heavier squats or deadlifts without a barbell this is great

You don't have to be a 250lb strongman contender to lift a 100lb kettlebell, it's not as heavy as you think. Although, I would feel bad for a delivery guy like someone mentioned above.

I think a 100lb kettlebell is easier to carry on it's own than it is in a flimsy box, just saying.

Got one of these delivered a few days ago. Great addition for a home gym to do deadlifts, RDLs, squats, and kettlebell swings.

I ordered a few heavy kettlebells a couple years ago. 60lbs+ and they just had a UPS sticker wrapped around them, no box or anything. Also ordered 45 pound plates a few times, just a UPS sticker. I think for heavy stuff there is no box. Probably easier to carry that way, also probably safer because they know what it is before picking it up, so can be prepared, or use hand truck.

Hi there! I took a long and that older thread is a different price, since this newer thread is cheaper, this would not be considered a repost Smilie

True, 16-24 kg is considered standard. Dan John had even said that if he could only have one pair, it works be 20s.

Above that and I prefer dumbbells or barbell. Like if you goblet this, you could also front squat a bb with a pair of 25 plates, or squat a pair of 24k kbs in the rack position, or do the same with a pair of 50 lb dbs.

It's kind of a funky level. This just isn't much weight for compound or lower body movements but fairly considerable weight for unilateral upper body work.
