My wife kept her band when trading her Galaxy 6 and it fits her Galaxy 7 so I'd say they are compatible as long as they are the same size (44mm or 40mm)

it will fit watch 7 40mm or 44mm but will not fit the ultra, since the ultra has proprietary bands

i'm using this on my watch 7 right now

You can find bands for Samsung watches on Chinese online retailers for under $2. I got several from AliEx and I'm very satisfied with the price and quality. Get four or more and shipping is free.

The no gap bands make the watch look bigger on the wrist. If you have small wrist, don't get it.

It should. I believe they all use standard sizing. I'm using my strap from my GW5P on my GW7 now without issue.

The straps on Ali Express are also very good for about $2 a piece. They also have case+screen protector for about $2 too. I have bought a bunch of them and I have had no issues, though the oem quality is much better of course. But you can get a different color case, and match it with a strap and basically have a different look matching your belt/shoes etc. If you're into that. They have good genuine leather bands too for about 5-7 bucks, gapless
