How would this work if we already have YouTube TV through a parent (not in college) and a college kid that's on the account? Would we just watch it on a separate app or something?
I did this last year, and ended up cancelling after a few weeks and signing up for the regular plan. I believe this plan only allows streaming to one device at a time, and that didn't work out well for me. The regular plan lets you stream on at least two devices at two different locations (which was the maximum that I used it last year).

Last year you could stream I know of at least 2 at a time. I believe they changed it after the fact a lot of people made a big fuss about it.
Edit: Student Plans do not include family sharing, and only include one signed-in device and one concurrent stream at a time.
Seems they have indeed changed it for this year...
