Thanks. Yeah I looked it up again after I made that post and saw I was wrong. That helps but it's still a ridiculous price for to me. Hoping that court case makes watching the NFL more accessible but they probably will find a way to use it to their advantage.
True. i'm also a Steelers fan. I have a kid in college so I signed up under him and watched. This year I got YouTube TV and got the discount for the season. 1/2 price. Still pricey but tied to my Ytv account.
Not even big ones work in most of CT and other states sadly.
If by CT you mean Connecticut, I'd encourage you to try again. If you live along the shoreline or a major valley area (CT River valley, Naugatuck valley, etc), you can pick up tons of free over-the-air channels with a decent antenna. From the middle of the state you can pick up Hartford, Springfield MA, and New Haven channels pretty easily. If you live in a really hilly area like Litchfield County you may be SOL, but "most of the state" can get a whole mess of channels with a well-placed antenna.
Pro move: using left over or discounted Google Play gift cards.
Make sure you add at least $109 or $119 (with red zone) to GP account before you check out. I used gift cards I got from Costco when they were discounted to $40.96 for $50.
I did this last year too.

Thanks, but it doesn't seem you can share with family like in prior years. So we can create 3 college accounts or just pay the current rate for existing YT subscribers. Not worth saving $20 to go through all that hassle.

Make sure you get the edition with Red Zone for $10 more.

Edit: Student Plans do not include family sharing, and only include one signed-in device and one concurrent stream at a time.
Seems they have indeed changed it for this year...
