I am going minimalist in my set up and replacing my dual monitor set up for one 42 inches OLED. Prices of the LG C4 and the Asus are over $1200.
I saw many reviews of this G42P5 and looks very very cool. Same panel as LG C2, monitor features, semi-gloss coating, etc. oh...and a great price.

Also at 42" you need the panel pretty far from you. I have a deep corner desk, pushed it all the way back (around 30") and still felt it was too close. For productivity, PPI is a bit of an issue at this size too.
I want a RGB OLED. I think 32" or so might be the sweet spot for 4K at a desk.
Games looked great though.
