This is for hard-wiring the camera to your fuse box if you don't want ugly dangling cigarette lighters all over your car. Includes a variety of fuse taps.
1) Pick a fuse between 10-30A
2) Original fuse you removed to put in add a fuse must be added to the bottom slot (closer to the legs of the add-a-fuse)
3) Use 2-5A fuse for the camera
4) DO NOT tap a fuse that provides critical car components. Use fuse for car radio, cigarette lighter, maybe windows.
5) ACC (yellow wire) goes to a fuse that is off when car is off
6) Red wire goes to an always on fuse.
7) Black wire goes to a metal nut for grounding.
I have this exact Dashcam for my wife SUV and it's was pretty easy to setup. Just took a bit of time to get it routed to the rear.
Two weeks after I installed it, her co worker rear ended her while leaving the parking deck at work. Caught everything in literally 4k with the co worker looking at her phone while driving.
This is a great video from Linustech about why the dash cam industry is horrible, Even the "top notch" 4k cameras can barely make out license plates and are not much better in video quality than average ones.
I have Garmins front and back in one car and Thinkware q800's in another and neither is much different. Unless you are directly behind the car in front (or back) and stopped at a light, you will NOT catch their license plate.

I recently purchased this Vantrue E3 Dash Camera, and I couldn't be more pleased with its performance. The video quality is outstanding, capturing clear and sharp footage both day and night. The wide-angle lens ensures that I have a comprehensive view of the road, which gives me peace of mind while driving.
One feature that stands out is the user-friendly interface. Setting up the camera was a breeze, and navigating through the settings is intuitive. The camera also comes with a handy mobile app that allows me to easily download and review footage on my phone.
The built-in GPS is another excellent feature, providing accurate tracking of my routes and speed. This has been particularly useful for documenting long trips and ensuring I'm always aware of my driving habits.
What really impressed me is the dash cam's reliability. It automatically starts recording when I start the car and has a robust loop recording function, so I never have to worry about running out of storage space. The motion detection feature is also a great addition, offering extra security when my car is parked.
Overall, the Vantrue E3 Dash Camera has exceeded my expectations in every way. It's a high-quality, reliable, and feature-packed device that I would highly recommend to anyone in need of a dash cam.
Thank you vantrue 🤗
I recently bought Vantrue and it saved my marriage, got me a promotion at work, and forgave my girlfriend's student loans.

Mainly comparing the front camera performance because I'd rather have separate cameras for front and rear.
