Have one similar to this that works great for my kid. Once they get a little bigger the suction bulbs or small electric ones don't cut it. These help suck everything out if they're sick. Hopefully this brand works well. Can always return but the price is great.

I don't know about this brand, but we had the manual and battery operated nosefrida. The battery operated one didn't work at all. It was pathetic. Totally useless. The manual one worked well enough, but I routinely became ill when using it on my kid. I had repeat colds and sinus infections which I believe came from using that on him. I haven't had repeat sinus infections before or since using that. I even had to go on antibiotics and never had to do that before. Just FYI. TL;DR: I'd try an electric one of these any day before ever using a manual one.

In case anyone needs a good suggestion on a manual one, Seattle Children's gives these ones if you have to visit their ER and work quite well:

I've also had two battery operated ones that did not work in the slightest, so if you need one, I'd highly suggest you always have a manual backup.

Um, so regarding this manual one, you're supposed to suck from the other end?

There's a filter, though you can remove it if you're craving more protein.

Maybe you were getting sick, not because you were using a manual nose Frieda, but you know because your kid is sick and it's infectious regardless.

Like that is the story of every parent. You just are always sick when your kid is sick.

Yeah, or maybe I talked about it with my doctor after my second sinus infection in two months and when I told her I was huffing my child's mucus clogged sinus cavity into my throat she said maybe I shouldn't do that anymore.

"Hospital grade" is false advertising to make a cheap product appear to be higher quality.

Why are you huffing your kids mucus into your throat? Did you remove the filter and massively shorten the tube? Or did you simply make up the sorry about the Doctor telling you something ridiculous to justify your own false belief?

Bulb syringes harbor bacteria growing inside the bulb. No matter how much you clean the insides.
