This is my first post so sorry if I missed anything. I just got my 2025 Leaf leased yesterday from Boulder Nissan and the price actually is $9/mo. 24 month, 10k miles per year lease. This is the cheapest monthly I've seen in CO.

Total costs:
Dealer fees + sales tax = $2300
Optional damage coverage = $600
Lease return fee = $320

Solid deal.

Nissan is losing money lately trying to sell people cars.

EVs are the iPhones of the auto market. Smug rich people will pay the extra premiums needed to keep a company afloat (Tesla), but there is no room in the market for economy, where people with common sense understand EVs are overpriced and inconvenient.

Of course, if the US allowed the import of $10K BYD EVs everyone would drive them, but we all know that will never happen.

Plenty of articles out "there" lately, discussing that almost half the current EV owners regret their purchase and are going back to gas powered engines asap.
Thumbs down don't change the truth!!..lol
Almost half? That means less than half. I own 2 EVs and have zero regrets.

So affording to you half of EV owners are happy with their purchases? Odd, that really changes your statement doesn't it?

And just because you declare something true, doesn't mean it is.

*Side note, I'll never understand how fragile some drivers are to scream their negativity every time they see a car or truck they don't like. EV vs gas, Ford vs Chevy, etc. Like walking into a ice cream shop then yelling at all the customers because YOU don't like certain flavored frozen milk desserts. Zero intention to ever buy something, just wanting to stand on their little soap box saying 'lOoK aT mE' while ruining everyone else's day;

"Thumbs down don't change the truth!!..lol" (see how that works Smilie)
More than half are happy with their purchase.

Let's see how many EVs will still be in service vs Gasoline engine automobiles that have been in service for 20 years.

idk, how many horse and buggies do you see compared to cars these days?

I drive a lifted 4x4 that I love, but I'm not ignorant enough to not see that ICE vehicles final days are here. You might see a few as a curiosity, but with nowhere to fill them up, and being relatively so expensive and dirty to run it will be quite a site to see one.

Just want to put out there I've done a ton of business with Boulder Nissan and the owner Jason is a stand up guy. Good people.

If you ever traveled you might have noticed there is no place to refuel. I haven't seen one in my city yet. They probably do have a couple by now. Didn't see it in 2020 tho. Aiin the 14th largest city in usa (out about 300, 000 cities) I seen 3 in some far out boonies ultra rich brand new suburburbs close to Redmond Washington on the other side of the map. . But they wouldn't be able to leave their extremely small undeveloped cities to go anywhere.

This is Colorado too. Nothing but dust an ranches in between the east an west coast
Why are people so determined to be in denial? On top of the millions of chargers people have at home, it won't be long before there are more public EV chargers than gas stations.

Um, it's going to be a long long while before you have issues filling your gas tank. You make it seem like they are already removing gas station.

Don't get ahead of yourself. EV tech isn't that baked into society yet.

Naw. I got a Lightning and laugh every time I read sh** like this. Cost me $13 to fill up and I wake up to a full tank every morning. No way I'd ever go to gas again

If you look at what I am responding to, he is asking about 20 years from now, of course it will be closer to 5 or 10.

So am I right in assuming that the Federal and State tax credits are single-use only? If so, why squander it on a lease?

State credits may be single or limited use, depending on the state. Federal tax credits are not single use. And when you lease, you are not claiming the tax credit. The dealer is.

There is a lot of anti EV propaganda out there right now. Probably a lot of it paid for by the oil industry. Most of it is nonsense but a lot of people are buying into the propaganda.
