I have the Castlevania and Contra collections. Definitely worth it for fans of the old school games.

The Castlevania Advance Collection looks amazing, but how do they play on Steam. For games that require very precise attack/platforming, any poor emulation or aspect/size change can ruin the game. Contra 3 on GameBoy Advance shrunk the vertical aspect and increased the character sprites making it impossible.

Controls seem pretty good

No issues with framerate

Audio isn't great though as it's grainy and low quality

This is all on a Steamdeck if that matters

The actual compilations are good. Anything else is how the original game always was. Most of these games put up a tough fight, good luck in Haunted Castle.

For some reason, symphony of the night was a psx exclusive and bundled with the original Dracula X. The one bundled with the advance collection is the SNES version, which is a travesty.
