It's quite likely that this is only 7.5W Qi. A few months back I bought this Lisen 3-in-1 charger[amazon.com] with "15W MagSafe" plastered all over it. When I received it, it would only do 7.5W. Their support confirmed that it will only do 15W on Androids and is limited to 7.5W on Apple devices. In other words, not MagSafe, only original Qi.
At this point, it's best to get Qi2 if you can. On an Apple device, it functions the same as MagSafe, plus it's more backward- and forward-compatible with non-Apple devices.
If this is Qi2 certified you can check on chi public database, which will answer 7.5 or 15w for iphones.
I doubt this will just be Qi1. Will post the link to check soon
Bought this in a similar deal on June 5th, the charger doesn't work now. It is out of return period on amazon, hence reached out to Lisen support with order details and waiting on replacement.

no. But it is equivalent to apple-branded MagSafe charging and is as fast as you'll get with an apple product. Possibly other brands as well? I don't think Samsung can do higher than 15w either
