Tons of other good brands out there before I would choose Costco dog food which is made by Diamond Naturals.

I also had a 40% off for using 625 CapOne points (my max savings was $20), which made this an even better deal.
$23.40 out the door

Well, scratch that. Just got an email - "Payment Declined" on the CapOne card ???

And after cancelling, I no longer have the 30% off coupon, though the 40% off via CapOne is still there.

Maybe someone else will have some better luck.

I gave up trying to buy Pro Plan on sale or the flavor I needed was out of stock. Therefore, I switched to Costco's Kirkland brand dry Lamb flavor and hadn't had any problems and my dogs like it. This is more-so FYI so if anyone else is tire of the raising prices / out of stock random flavors.

Chewy has spend $100 get $30gc (Code SUMMERFUN). Their 30lb S&R is $71.98.

Not sure if this is a better deal or not.

This food made my dog (shih tzu) throw up and didn't help with any of the skin or allergy issues. Moved on to hills science diet and he's been doing ok.

Agreed. Kirkland foods are above average but there are much better brands out there. I'm fortunate to have a Pet Food Express near me and I can grab their buy 3 get one free deal.

My understanding is that Amazon has a problem with counterfeit dog food, but this is a good deal, so I will compare this to my current bag to make sure it's the same food.

FYI, they recently changed the formula on these, hence the bad reviews.
I have a shih tzu and recently switched to Kirkland Signature Nature's Domain Small Breed Salmon & Lentil, 20 lbs, and my dog transitioned fine with it
