Also, a 32oz container that holds 18 cups of cereal.

Even I know that math doesn't add up, and I'm a cat.

18 cups = 144 fluid ounces. Do they mean the empty container weights 2lb? That seems closer to right, but still wrong.

"Large Capacity: Fits an entire 32-ounce box of cereal"
From the description. Did a quick search, looks like most family size boxes are about 19oz. I saw one "giant size" that was about 28oz.

These containers have too many design flaws. I will forever not understand how companies this big will release products without focus groups. I looked at the pictures on Amazon and spotted one instantly. Spotted 2 more just scrolling the the user submitted photos. In the interest of saving you all time dont buy these due to #1 locking lid where cereal pours out is also supposed to keep the lid secure so when you pour cereal you are opening 1 of the 2 joints that hold the lid on. #2 the lids are flared at the top to they waste space on the sides by not fitting tightly together(why create a grip handle and not have them snug against each other) #3 the locking joints are held on by knubs of hard plastic that can break off and fall into your cereal/food.

It is a lot, but they're very durable/easy to clean and can last for years if cared for. They also don't seem to discolor or retain smells over time like many plastics.

As the poster above mentioned, they nest/arrange well but not perfectly so they might not be the best choice if you want/need every single cubic inch of space - but otherwise highly recommended at this price.

You can buy sets of generic brands on Amazon that end up being cheaper than this. I'm sure this item is well made but it's still definitely overpriced.

it also states 900 milliliters (.9 liters) - I'd go by the container dimensions
this rubbermaid $15
10.25"L x 4.75"W x 9.38"H

walmart mainstays $7.44
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mainst.../499278058
9.75" x 5.38" x 13.5"

Or if those are too tall for your shelf - 2 for $10.97

11.25" x 4.75" x 11.75"

That doesn't make sense either.

The volume of 32oz of cat treats ≠ 32oz of corn pops ≠ 32oz of grape nuts.

Container capacity needs to be measured in volume units, not weight units.
