How long can you run a typical box fan on high with a 4ah battery?
they are 5V DC USB outputs so a 120v box fan will probably run about 0 hours

This isn't the version with the inverter/power plug.

Ridiculous to sell a non-PD, non-USB C charger of ANY type for $20. Go to bed Ryobi you're drunk.

I ran RYOBI ONE+ 18V Cordless Hybrid WHISPER SERIES 7-1/2 in. Fan PCL811B for 7 hours. I could not remember if it was on med or high. Ryobi regular batteries last pretty good for normal task. If you work on taking off lug nuts you should go with Ryobi HP batteries because regular batteries does not even work for me.

I don't see the point in this product. Wouldn't a power bank be more useful/cheaper/portable? If it were usb-c PD @ 45w or better, I could see the usefulness.

This was a nice to have 5-7 years ago. But for today, Ryobi should be giving these away for free.

This was an older product... Maybe made sense at that time... Perhaps Ryobi just has too many to ditch.

During a long power outage, how long will your power bank last before needing to be recharged?

With the Ryobi Power Source, you can replace the depleted batteries with charged ones for as long as you need, depending on the number of Ryobi batteries you have.

If you have a 3d printer, you can make one of these with USB-C PD ports for less. The one I made uses a USB port add-on for a car rated for 9-24v input or something like that.
