If you have a Chase credit card, it's worth looking to see if you have a Staples.com 10% statement credit offer on the card. I was able to trigger the 10% statement credit by purchasing a e-gift card at Staples.com.

I believe this means purchasing a Staples gift card. Gift cards from other merchants "ring up" differently, like regular merchandise.

Stop and Shop (grocery chain in Northeast) offer 10x points on Lowes and Home Depot gift cards a couple times in a year. Limit was high, like $4000. Just pay attention to weekly ads.

If you buy $100 gc, you get 1000 points which is worth $20 at S&S gas pump if you fill max 20 gallon.True sders drive small cars and bring gas cans.
