Costco appears to be clearing out the C3s in some stores. Mine had 77" for $1499.97, 65" for $1199.97, and 55" on manager closeout for $900. 5yr Allstate warranty is included. Link is for reference only. 84321 Logan, UT where I picked up one of the 77". $1609 w/tax.

Got a C3 for $1200 a couple days ago before I saw this post. Last one in stock in New Berlin, WI. Could not believe my luck.

Definitely mainly for the thrill but I did do some math to justify the drive. No waiting for LG's poor shipping. Costco's warranty and return policy are infinitely better than the LG Partner Store. And I have an Executive Costco membership + Citi card so I would get some significant cash back compared to just 1.5% with the LG partner Store. Seemed like an infinitely better deal and I'm really happy I did it.

Sony has arguably better processing but isn't bright. I also don't like the bezels on the Sony. I'm partial to the LG, but if you have a dark room the Sony could work well for you.
