You can activate phone #1 to have the bundled 1-yr and units loaded to it. Then activate phone #2 WITH A TRANSFER from phone #1; service on phone #1 (phone number, 1-yr, units) get transferred to phone #2, then the bundled 1-yr and units for phone #2 get added on top, giving phone #2 two years of service and 2x the units.

If you're currently using a phone on TF, your can activate phone #1 WITH A TRANFER from your current phone to have your current phone number, days, units transferred to phone #1, then the bundled 1-yr and units for phone #1 get added on top. Then activate phone #2 with a transfer from phone #1. After that, if you prefer to use your current phone, re-activate your current phone with a transfer from phone #2. Smart existing TF users do that all the time to "harvest" cheap service days and units from those HSN/QVC bundles.
Folks, just so you're aware...

The service plan is 1500 text, 1500 minutes, 1.5gb data -- for the *entire year*. Not per month. That's about 4 minutes of talk time per day.

It's an extremely minimal and restrictive cellular plan, one that you could even call insultingly low - especially if you're used to cellular plans in modernized nations (aka, ones outside the the USA). It's not for everyone, and make sure it fits your use case.
No need to be insulted - for many people (for example, those who use less than 4 minutes of phone talk per day) paying $2 (and sometimes less) per month for a phone service which includes a new smartphone every year is a very good deal.

Yes. It is possible. If Galaxy S is a BYOD phone, it may be better to do the alternatives, but it involves chatting with TF CS (so some risk).

If you buy this 2-pack, you could add 2 years and 3000 TTD to your plan. Do the following if you don't care about referral points (potential 7,000 for existing account and 8,000 for new account with new line, but requires more time to complete! I'll skip the steps.)
1. Activate 1st G Play with a new number in your existing account.
2. Wait a few days, and active the 2nd G Play by transferring the phone number and service from the first Play. See step by step instructions [reddit.com].
3. Wait a few days, and start a chat with TF that you'd like to combine the service (add the buckets from G Play # to Galaxy S #. This is the potential risk part - some TF agents may mess up the transfer/combine... During the chat, the agent should send a verification code to the 2nd G Play (donor), and you should also receive an alert on G Play that you're moving service from this phone. Sometimes the agent want to send a code to the Galaxy (receiving phone) as well, and I get nervous. If your Galaxy receives alert about moving service, the agent is doing it wrong (moving service from wrong phone). It gets a little more complicated if your current service is not on TF/Verizon.
(DM me for a script that I've been using with great success.)
8,000 Reward points as a receiver? I thought it was only 3,500 now.

Not recommended to move the SIM. You can buy a TF BYOD SIM for $1 for the unlocked phone, and transfer the service from the G Play phone to it.
thanks, i take it it's not recommended to move the sim because TF ties sim to phone?
after buying the byod sim, is it fairly straightforward to move service to new sim? are instructions provided in the byod sim package? thanks.

Dont quote me but if you dont activate within 45 days you may lose ability to activate. contact tracfone to be sure. Last year I waited about 65 days to activate a phone and it would not activate thru tracfone. They may deactivate sim/imei after xx number of days..
" Chat with tracfone online to be sure"
I bought a tracfone with 1500 talk/text/data from qvc in June 24 2023. I just activated it last week and it transferred the data/minutes just fine.

So I think you have at least one year for activation.

Yeah its 12 month from purchase date but after 30 day return period QVC won't help you if plan doesn't work and Tracfone tells you to contact QVC

Yes, the preloaded service on the SIM may disappear if in a different phone (TF trying to pair the service to IMEI). Try this guide [reddit.com], and select 'Keep Your Own Phone' at step 3. It should ask for both the IMEI and SIM ICCID. (can also chat with TF agent for help, but I'd avoid agents if I can DIY. I haven't done this with a BYOD though.)

Keep in mind that Tracfone can be unlocked phones can be unlocked however they may not work on some Verizon carriers and ATT's (and MVNO's) whitelist. But that is subjected to change and YMMV.

Yes that's what people do it for. Activate one of the new phones and then transfer it to your old phone. What I am confused about is what to do with the second one. Do we wait almost the year?
Thanks for your input and for your question it looks like "Crazy8" already replied to it.

Thanks for the details, I am little worried about contacting their CS agent, I never had a good experience with them, in fact when I first moved my TF service from the Orbit phone to my current Galaxy phone, not only they messed it up, no one was aware of how to fix it, but luckily after 2 days someone who knew the system fixed it. Long story short, as you have mentioned calling them is very risky, unless that CS person is knowledgeable you are screwed.
I am never into the referral area, too much hassle for me.

Do you know why that is? I recently tried an unlocked 4G LTE capable Tracfone flip phone, that should meet their network's technical requirements, and I was surprised to find AT&T and Verizon SIMs didn't work...

I know it's always a risk asking a TF CS to fix something. Following the guide [reddit.com] to transfer your existing service to 1st G Play, and again from 1st G Play to 2nd G Play will add 2 years and 3,000 TTD to your line. It's probably OK to transfer everything back to Galaxy, especially if on TF/Verizon network (TF may allow reuse of a TF/Verizon SIM). However I haven't done it before so don't know for sure if DIY works.

Couldn't you activate the first phone and keep the same number--use that new phone for a day---then activate the 2nd phone and keep the same number---then wait a day or maybe do it sooner and put your old phone (Galaxy S) back on your plan via website?

I already have a tracfone phone. If I transfer the plans on the two samsung phones to my original phone immediately upon receiving. Will the two Samsung phones unlock after 60 days still? Some users wait almost a year to activate the second one? Confusing info in the thread.
This deal is about two Moto G Play phones. You asked about two Samsung phones. That's confusing to me.

Yes, the first two steps are easy and can be done by DIY; but the final step needs CS agent to do something is what little scary. All our family members including this one I am talking about is part of TF / Verizon network.
Only solution I can think is what "wealthisachoice" suggested, you can see the details in my response to "wealthisachoice" in the next post
