How does this compare to thinkpad deal below? I can save $125 ($725 vs $850) if I buy the thinkpad from Lenovo with the $75 rewards offer from Amex. The spec looks slightly better for the Costco one.

i'm returning mine because i see color fringeing on text when i wear my glasses. at arm's length, this makes text feel blurry.

strangely, the problem goes away when i tilt my head or remove my glasses. none of my other displays are like this.
i've not been diagnosed with astigmatism, but maybe there's a teeny tiny bit?

either way, i think i have to stay away from normal-density OLED displays.

I ended up buying this laptop. Works very well. Battery lasts forever. Some bloatware from Lenovo, but do love some of the facial recognition features to login and pause videos when you move away from the laptop.

After watching for deals for weeks, it was hard to find another OLED touchscreen + 32GB of 7500MHZ RAM for under $1000.

The one at Lenovo is 16gig ram

The Costco one is 32gig,

Huge difference because memory is soldered and can't be upgraded.

The difference in CPU is also a huge factor. 'H' class has substantially more oomph than a 'U' class Intel.

First n foremost , this is NOT Thinkpad. It's a yoga. Lenovo dropped Yoga from Yoga Slim and simply calling it as SLIM!!!

Costco marketing is so so lame. Nowhere in Lenovo website this is identified as Thinkpad. Neither does the box says that. Costco product entry error!!
