Play through the first one (2/3rds) and enjoyed it, it's challenging and has some jank but is entertaining.

Btw the complete pack is $2 more, 7.99 vs 5.99 but I have no idea what's in the season pack, if it's worth it...

also this is 5.10 at greenman gaming

I liked it. Thought it was a big improvement on the first. Has a unique directional parry system that feels satisfying once you get used to it.

My major issue I had with the first is the maps were very confusing. I get they were trying to encourage exploring but with the souls like respawning enemies made getting anything accomplished taking 10 times longer than it should (probably due to my poor sense of direction forcing me down the same road over and over). Is 2 the same or different in that respect? A map, waypoint, or breadcrumb system would have been a game changer for me.

Polygon Review [polygon.com]
"The in-game map is non-existent, replaced with map billboards, which display my location, strewn about the world."

In the review the reviewer appears to like how the world is "folded" in interesting ways, but they may like it for the puzzle of it, versus it actually being easy to navigate.
