Why? Because I have played all of them a few hours each but never finished any of them. That has to be worth a couple dollars each. They are fun but after a while they become monotonous and repetitive so I tend to move on to something else (and hope my saves are still in the Steam cloud if I ever return to them years later).
My first thought on this bundle was this: for those "who have lived under a rock" (as far as collecting games go) for the last decade and somehow don't have these games, this is an incredible deal for very good but very similar games which kids and adults can enjoy.
The only Lego games I don't have are not in this bundle, and if they ever did get included in a bundle, they would be in the top $15-$20 tier bundled with all the stuff I already have in lower tiers so I wouldn't buy those bundles in the future. So I'll just wait for them to get $3-$5 on CDKeys. I'm overloaded on games so no hurry to get the few Lego games I don't have.
BTW, I keep thinking someday when things go bad and society breaks down, I'll just play these while the chaos goes on outside, but I don't know if the Internet went down long term (most likely due to a cyber or physical attack) if they would work on Steam which I believe wants to phone home periodically.
Do you wish you waited to play Super Nintendo games because you can play them for free now?
As these are all through Steam, you can also play online through Steam's shared netplay protocol. It's not great for competitive play, but enough for boardgames or these kinds of Lego games where it's not serious messing around.
