- Better battery life
- More ports (3 TB4, HDMI, headphone, and SD card port on the MBP vs. 2 USB4 and headphone)
- Better speakers/mics
The only downside I see is that the MBP is bigger and heavier. You might also be able to get the $1500 MBA configuration for a bit cheaper and with an Apple gift card right now while their back to school promo is ongoing.
