Welcome to 2024. We moved passed 2014 CDMA vs GSM stupidity.
Nope. I ported multiple. Just open Google voice number and unlock for $3. Then create voice main pin and that's it. Provide those to total by Verizon when you want to transfer
This will most likely go down to $100 in a couple of months based on previous Razr series.

It says auto unlock in 60 days. You're the one that didn't read it.
You asked "Is this phone unlocked and is it compatible with Boost?". This phone is NOT unlocked when shipped. It will be auto-unlocked 60 days after activation.

If you plan on keeping the service, and need ATT coverage some people may want to know about the option. Phones aren't a zero sum game on price only. Especially since the total deal your saddled with Verizons network, and with this phone you don't have mmWave service
you're not saddled with Verizon....after 60 days...adios Verizon!

Did I do something wrong?

Actually, you can say "Adiós, Verizon, no más dinero para ti" after 30 days.

When trying to port out Google voice number, it says the number isn't eligible for port.

I was planning on porting 4 phone to TW.

Saw this deal, So can I port all 4 and get 4 phones at discount?

Do i have to activate the ported number into this new phone? I was hoping to continue to use my old phone and sell this deal phone. FYI, i will continue to use TW services.

Funny that people have no issue giving their name and face in a database for a cheap phone

Funny how people judge someone over the Internet for things that don't affect them one iota.

total wireless still claim they use CDMA. i guess maybe that's why their internet is so slow.
Verizon dropped CDMA back on start of 2023. They are using this term to say Verizon.

Maybe they are getting the wrong info from the Total website itself.
Lots of companies are using just CDMA, GSMA, and GSMT to just tell people what towers that they are using anymore.
