Tempted... Been wanting this for awhile. Will it possibly go even lower?? $99 would be the sweet spot.

Tough call especially if they aren't getting more in stock.

Yeah it's a bit of a gamble I guess. I think I may hold out in hopes that it comes down a little more. It could be a good while before they completely run out of the current model. I think they'll go down a little more, especially if they're trying to make way for the new version.

It's very heavy! Heavier than my echo gas trimmer

I got one of these a month or two back around the same price. Nice hedge trimmer, beefy and definitely not lacking on power - but man is it heavy compared to the Black & Decker one I'd gotten it to replace.

Due to its weight, don't plan on holding it above your head or out at arm's length for very long if you have tall shrubs to trim - get the hedge trimmer attachment (for the string trimmer) for that.

Buy now, and return if price goes lower. HD has good return policy.

I have this and it works very well, however I rarely use it after getting the M18 pole hedge trimmer quik-lok attachment. The pole version is heavy but it's so much easier to cut stuff with the long reach.

Looks like it took a page out of the Ego 26" trimmer with the ability to twist the handle in 5 positions.

I got the 1st gen Milwaukee 24" hedge trimmer that came free with the purchase of the string trimmer kit ($299) from Acme Tools back in July 2018 and the hedge have served me well. I got the Ego hedge kit ($249 with 2X 2.5ah batteries also from Acme Tools) last year and I have been happy with it (love the ability to turn the handle especially for long trims),

As for weight, they are all heavy to me so putting a strap on the shoulder helps.

Does the pole version ever have a deal? Think I'd prefer that too. Think I've only seen as part of a giant package that I don't need

I got mine for a pretty slick deal but it was more than a year ago. Sometimes they include it with BMSM or as a BOGO item, or other times a larger kit with several attachments will go on sale.
