Craftsman is made by the same parent company that makes Dewalt and Black and Decker… which is actually called Stanley Black and Decker (SBD).

Dewalt is their top tier line, Craftsman mid, and Black and Decker is, well, competing against Hart and HF brands.

But there are so many deals posted for Dewalt, Milwaukee, etc… that are comparable or even better priced than this. There's a current Milwaukee deal that I'd be all over for the drill impact combo.

I've torn apart a lot of my craftsman and DeWalt and they all had very similar guts. Also, I have been running a *hit load of Craftsman lately just to see. I haven't had much trouble. No larger cordless miter saw, no great cordless table saw, but everything else, even the nail guns seem to work as well as anything else.
