Theoretically 4, but I would say 3-4 and would not recommend buying a 10-pack of 4T underwear for any boy older than 3, unless you don't mind throwing them away in 6 months. But both kids and the clothes that are made for them vary wildly at this age.

Not sure if this is too personal, but did you find these easier to be pulled up vs briefs? Going through trying to teach my son how to pull his pants up on his own and he has the ability to pull his pants up decently well, but still struggling with the briefs.

Mine doesn't struggle getting them up, but they're always bunched/rolled at the top whether they're briefs or boxers. Getting him to fix the waist is the current struggle
