Lowes has the DeWalt 15-gallon 5-SCFM portable vertical air compressor on clearance for $351.17 or less. If available, it may be in-store only for your local store.
Inconsistent reviews were provided by multiple users who
did not read the manual. Specifically, this 120V
15A compressor requires either
direct connection to wall receptacle or
12/3 extension cable (pg 2, para 4). Inferior cables cause voltage sag and premature motor failure. Also, it's bulky and 105-lbs so you might want to bring a friend to load and unload from your vehicle.
Generic Product Features:- 5.0-SCFM at 90-PSI allows the compressor to recover quickly after its initial tank charge is exhausted.
- 225-PSI max tank storage pressure allows for longer air tool run times
- EHP efficient high pressure technology to deliver exceptional air tool run times.
- 78 dBA operational noise level for a "quieter" work environment (tested per ISO3477).
- Metal console protects the gauges, coupler, and regulator.
- Efficient high-pressure technology allows for longer pump and motor life.
- Independently certified to applicable standards.
- 1-year service contract; 1-year Warranty.
Good luck & happy deal hunting.

I posted the deal because I know there are a lot of forum members who like DeWalt and I appreciate it when others post real deals on things I'm interested in. Sorry to members whose local Lowe's haven't put this on sale yet. I didn't mean to waste your time.

15-gallon of 200 PSI air versus 26-gallon of 150 PSI air. (Might be same amount of air in tank)
5.0 CFM versus 4.5 CFM at 90 PSI (normal pressure after regulator to tools).
1 year service and parts warranty versus 3 year warranty (parts only?)
I like the idea of the quiet one though.
