That's gotta be the all time low on the 65". I haven't paid attention to the 77" pricing. I hate that this tv has the separate input box instead of having all the ports on the rear, but it's still a magnificent TV.

It's a good price for the 95C as well. But, since you can softmod the 90c to 95c performance level (higher max brightness), and avoid the one connect box problem on the 95c, the 90c at its lowest makes for the better deal.

I concur.

Not happy with the One connect box and cable that goes to the back of the TV. The One Connect box has a terrible connection on the 'box' end.

Dumb question, as I have not seen the box, what makes the connection terrible?

I had s95c 55' for 1.3k and it is the best tv I ever had, movies look great, gaming very smooth, brightness impressive, love the one cable for all and not sure about the one box issue since I haven't in one year. The only downside for me is the Tyzen OS since it's missing a few apps I use, I solve this issue with a simple $50 4k Chromecast. Not having Dolby it's also not an issue for me since I watch tv with low volume at the time the kids are sleeping, and for gaming I used a gaming headsets

The One Connect Box is expensive to replace. This also supplies power to the TV itself, there isn't a regular AC power cord. If the box goes south, TV cannot be powered on its own.

One Connect cable is a fiber optic cable which you cannot have any bends over 90 degrees and the connectors are crap without sufficient support.

I am waiting for them too. I seems they are already OOS at best buy, Samsung and Costco. 95c 77 is out of my budget.

Does this model have the screen flex issues or was that only for the older gen?

anyone ever refuse delivery from Woot on a TV when they call to schedule the delivery? Ordered the C3 on Friday and think for $200 this would be a much better option. When I was looking at these a year ago this everything about the picture/performance of this TV is better than the C3 (and the G3) except for not having DV

Hot damn, that is several major cons, good to know for the next TV.
Thanks for the info

It's the exact same components that would otherwise be inside the TV so it's not like it's all these extra components that could break on you. The cable is potentially a weak point if you are constantly moving the TV around but otherwise the fact that the box is replaceable may be a benefit compared to if your main board or power supply inside the TV failed.

If you find a 77" S90C for sale (bought mine for $1900 from Costco) then that is a better buy. They apparently use the same panel as the S95C.

You can essentially "mod" the S90C using a $10 remote and a few clicks in the service menu to perform nearly identical to the S95C without having to deal with the spotty OneConnect box.
