For us, tongue scraping goes back generations and is done every day after brushing. Nothing new here. Plastic ones before stainless steel versions became available. Scrape, wash and dry them to use it for the next time. They literally last tens of years if you have a good quality product. Some family members switched to copper ones but even those last many many years. What's the deal here that Amazon offers a S&S deal?

But I agree, I've purchased these before about a year ago and have never even thought about throwing it out. Every so often though, after rinsing it in the sink, I'll throw it into the dish washer.
