If you're washing them daily, there's no real reason to throw them away unless there's apparent damage.

Ok spend 30 seconds gagging while stabbing your tongue with bristles, or 1 second swipe with a thin shim, you decide.

First thing I do every morning... Started when I was pregnant and it helped with morning sickness instantly. Been doing it ever since. Also been oil pulling for the past few months. Game changer!!

These metal ones are the way to go. Plastic ones don't work well or if they do they dull quickly.

These are prob $1 from major Chinese retailers.

How often do you toss them? I'm embarrassed to say that I have an extra sitting in my cabinet from 4 years ago. Still going strong on the first. I use every day and I wash and rinse afterwards

These are too dull. I have to sharpen them manually before they are usable out of box

Brush your tongue with your toothbrush???
These are "scrapers" not brushers. You need to scrape the stuff off your tongue and wash it off. Brushing doesn't really remove that stuff.

I got some on sale a couple of years ago and began using them nightly after seeing Bryan Johnson's video:

Subscribe and Save for stainless steel tongue scrapers? Wow, what are folks doing with them? Single use and throwing them out? Pretend sword fighting/fencing after using them? Using them as mouth guards at night and grinding them down? Or are they just so bad that they need frequent replacements?
For us, tongue scraping goes back generations and is done every day after brushing. Nothing new here. Plastic ones before stainless steel versions became available. Scrape, wash and dry them to use it for the next time. They literally last tens of years if you have a good quality product. Some family members switched to copper ones but even those last many many years. What's the deal here that Amazon offers a S&S deal?

Anyone happen to know, why some ppl never have build up on their tongue?

I have been using scraper with toothpaste for years, I wonder if it's bc I started doing it years ago and have to do it ever since…

True, but not complaining about S&S discount Big Grin
But I agree, I've purchased these before about a year ago and have never even thought about throwing it out. Every so often though, after rinsing it in the sink, I'll throw it into the dish washer.
