Because Uber's overhead costs are crazy low and they can be overpriced. Giving out these gifts cards brings in more customers over Lyft. Luckily for us, I don't mind because I have to use Uber for work and saves me money

also, have multiple uber accounts and wait for 15 off or 20 off Smilie
